Where it all Began
After meeting on Facebook Dating and talking for a week, Paul finally asked Heather out on a date. Not quite sure how to impress a Pro Golfer, Paul figured axe throwing would be a good date, but he didn't have anything else planned. After an hour of throwing axes the two decided they wanted to grab some food. Paul would say he was being a little selfish when he suggested an Asian Fusion places that wasn't too far. But Heather is always up for some good Asian Food!
CaoBao has steamed buns filled with different meats and paste. They also have steamed bun sandwiches that are amazing. Paul first learned he liked this style of food on an overnight in Newark, New Jersey. On the drive to the restaurant Paul learned of Heather's Japanese Heritage. He was happily surprised to learn Heather was 1/4 Japanese, and he added it to the reasons he like her.
After axe throwing and steamed buns, Paul and Heather didn't want to call it a night. Paul suggested 8th Wonder Brewery for a few drinks and to continue the great conversation they were having. Paul felt like he was able to talk freely without holding back anything. And when he gets to talking he doesn't stop sometimes.
Date Two
Paul didn't want the night to end but sadly it had to. Heather initiated the second date saying she and a friend where going fishing in a couple days. She invited Paul but told him he would need to be at her house at 4:30am to head down to the coast to fish. Paul never turns down an adventure and never has an issue waking up early. He showed up early and ready, although he wasn't sure what awaited him.
The first stop of the morning was Buc-ee's for breakfast. Not sure how you can go wrong with breakfast tacos from Buc-ee's to start your day. They got some ice and then went to a bait shop closer the the coast for some frozen shrimps. Now Paul coming from North Louisiana and only has a history of fishing in freshwater, so this was all new to him. He's use to using a shiner for white perch and spinner or crank bait for bass, but Heather and Paul wouldn't be fishing for white perch or bass. He wouldn't even be in freshwater. This was all new to him but he knew how to cast a rod and reel, and that's all he needed.
Paul is use to fishing out of a boat or off of a dock on small lakes and ponds. Heather had a different idea in mind for their fishing trip. She had them wade out into the water and fish from there. They were catching croakers and catfish but Heather wasn't allowing him to keep any of the fish.
